A Welcome from our Pastor
On behalf of Grace Baptist Church, I’d like to thank you for your interest in our church. We offer an opportunity to meet and worship with your neighbors. Joining with us makes it easy to make new friends, find family activities, and learn about the Lord.
Grace Baptist Church is a family-oriented church that stands on the Holy Bible as the Word of God. We approach life from this perspective based on a rational, intelligent study of His Word that has led us to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. We strive to show that faith by our actions and love for one another, as our Lord said in John 13:35, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
If you have any questions concerning the Bible, salvation, or another
matter, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to open God’s Word with answers. We assure you we will respect the privacy of your search for answers. If our church can be of service to you and your family, we trust you will contact us.
In Christ,
Dr. Montel B. Wilder, Pastor
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to glorify God by conducting a Baptist church in accordance with the Word of God, promoting the worship of God, edifying believers, and teaching the whole council of God.
We administer the ordinances and Biblical discipline, seeking to win the lost to Christ through personal witnessing and the preaching of the gospel.
We carry on a vigorous missionary program around the world, exposing religious error and apostasy, ordaining qualified men of like faith to the gospel ministry, establishing other Baptist churches, and maintaining a good testimony for Christ in our community through godliness and good works.
A further purpose of Grace Baptist Church as a corporation is to be a regular church with the authority to operate and maintain associated ministries for education, care, evangelism, and personal spiritual growth.
