Dr. Wilder, originally from Tennessee, has served at Grace Baptist Church for close to 40 years, teaching God's Word and seeing souls saved. He has a Masters of Theology degree and a Ph.D. in Bible Sciences focusing on the scientific fields that bear on the first 11 chapters of Genesis.
In addition to weekly preaching in Pepperell, Dr. Wilder has done seminars and conferences around New England, the U.S. and many other countries. He has taught Creation Sciences and Eschatology at numerous colleges, high schools, churches, and other venues in Ukraine, Nepal, Israel, across India, Canada, and Europe. He has participated in Creation debates on secular college campuses and written numerous articles on the subject.
D. Wilder has participated in archaelogical digs in the Judean Desert and on the Qumron Plateau and is a former member of the American Scientific Affiliation and the Christian Educators Association International. He was Chariman of the Board for CEF of Massachusetts for 28 years, is an Executive Board Member and N.E. Legislative Director for the American Association of Christian Schools, and President of The New England Assocation of Christian Schools.
His favorite hobbies are riding his motorcycle and studying God's Word.
He and his wife Deborah, reside in Ayer, Massachusetts.
