From its inception, Grace Baptist has stood on the Bible as the foundation of truth and the basis of our relationships to God and each other. As such, we are a family-friendly church dedicated to healthy family life, holy living as defined in the Scriptures, and a fellowship that loves and cares for each other as heirs together of the grace of God.

A note from Pastor Wilder

Our church family began with just six people and has seen hundreds come to Christ through the years. Since our founding in 1987, we have never wavered nor compromised on the inspired infallible, and inerrant Word of God. We are committed to accurately teaching and preaching Holy Scripture at every opportunity through an intelligent, rational, study of His truths.

We strive to live the scriptures out in our everyday life through the body of believers and the family we have forged through His Word. It is our intenet to help each other grow in the grace and love of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

If you wish to know what the Bible has to say about life, death, salvation, justice, truth, and morality, we stand ready to share this with you from the Word. Join us to learn what the Bible really says without the many misconceptions and additions that traditionally have encumbered the truth.

There is a God of this universe, He wants you to know Him, He has revealed Himself in His perfect Word, and He will hold all accountable to find it. His great promise is that if you would seek in sincerity, He will make Himself known to you.

About Pastor Dr. Montel B. Wilder

Dr. Wilder, originally from Tennessee, has served at Grace Baptist Church for close to 40 years, teaching God's Word and seeing souls saved. He has a Masters of Theology degree and a Ph.D. in Bible Sciences focusing on the scientific fields that bear on the first 11 chapters of Genesis.

In addition to weekly preaching in Pepperell, Dr. Wilder has done seminars and conferences around New England, the U.S. and many other countries. He has taught Creation Sciences and Eschatology at numerous colleges, high schools, churches, and other venues in Ukraine, Nepal, Israel, across India, Canada, and Europe. He has participated in Creation debates on secular college campuses and written numerous articles on the subject.

D. Wilder has participated in archaelogical digs in the Judean Desert and on the Qumron Plateau and is a former member of the American Scientific Affiliation and the Christian Educators Association International. He was Chariman of the Board for CEF of Massachusetts for 28 years, is an Executive Board Member and N.E. Legislative Director for the American Association of Christian Schools, and President of The New England Assocation of Christian Schools.

His favorite hobbies are riding his motorcycle and studying God's Word.

He and his wife Deborah, reside in Ayer, Massachusetts.
