How to Know God Personally
All have sinned.
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Sin must be paid for.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” Romans 6:23
Jesus Christ paid for our sins.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Would you like to be saved from the holy judgement?
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Acts 16:30b-31.
“... except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
What must we do?
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
“But as many as received Him [Christ] to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John 1:12
When can I be saved?
“...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2
If you believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ, by Himself, can save you from sin, then call on Him in prayer, by faith, and ask Him to save you.
Our assurance.
“These things have I written unto you that believe ... that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1 John 5:13
